Sardar Singh of Jodhpur

Sardar Singh became Maharaja of Jodhpur at the age of 15 after the death of his father, Jaswant Singh II. His reign was marked by a regency council until he came of age, during which the state's administration continued under British oversight.

Sardar Singh was an avid polo player and promoted the sport in Jodhpur. He established polo teams and organized tournaments, contributing to the development of polo as a popular sport among the Indian aristocracy.
