Philip I of Brabant

Philip I inherited the Duchy of Brabant from his cousin John IV. As the last male of the Valois-Burgundy line, his rule was brief and marked by continued Burgundian dominance.

Philip I died childless, ending the direct Valois-Burgundy line of Brabant. His death allowed Philip the Good of Burgundy to formally annex Brabant into the Burgundian state.
