Nestor of Pylos

Nestor, as the oldest and wisest Greek king, served as a chief counselor to Agamemnon during the Trojan War. His advice often resolved disputes and guided strategy.

Nestor tried to reconcile Achilles and Agamemnon after their quarrel over Briseis. His diplomatic efforts, though unsuccessful, demonstrated his role as a peacemaker.

Unlike many Greek heroes, Nestor returned to Pylos without incident after the war. He continued to rule peacefully, symbolizing the ideal of a wise and fortunate king.
