Madansinhji of Kutch

Madansinhji, as the ruling prince, signed the Instrument of Accession, merging Kutch with the Dominion of India. This ended the princely state's sovereignty and integrated it into the Indian Union.

Following the death of his father Maharao Shri Vijayaraji, Madansinhji became the titular Maharao of Kutch. However, the princely state had already acceded to India in 1947, so his role was ceremonial and without political power.
