Hojo Ujiyasu

Hojo Ujiyasu defeated a much larger Uesugi coalition army at Kawagoe Castle, breaking the siege and securing Hojo control over the Kanto region. This victory is considered one of the greatest tactical feats of the Sengoku period.

Hojo Ujiyasu promulgated the Hojo Code, a comprehensive legal code governing his domain. The code standardized laws, reduced crime, and improved administration, contributing to the stability and prosperity of Hojo territories.

Hojo Ujiyasu successfully defended Odawara Castle against a massive siege by Uesugi Kenshin. The defense lasted several months and ended with Uesugi's withdrawal, cementing Odawara's reputation as an impregnable fortress.

Hojo Ujiyasu's forces ambushed and defeated Takeda Shingen's army at Mimasetoge, preventing the Takeda from advancing on Odawara. This victory maintained Hojo independence against the expanding Takeda clan.
