Abdagases I

Abdagases I succeeded his uncle Gondophares as king of the Indo-Parthian Kingdom. He inherited a realm that included parts of the Indus Valley and eastern Afghanistan, but faced challenges from the Kushans.

Abdagases I lost significant territories in the Indus Valley to the Kushan ruler Kujula Kadphises. This reduced the Indo-Parthian kingdom to a smaller area in eastern Afghanistan and weakened its power.
