Utbah ibn Rabiah

Utbah ibn Rabiah was one of the three Quraysh leaders who commanded the Meccan army at the Battle of Badr. He initially advocated for avoiding battle but was overruled by Abu Jahl. He led the Quraysh forces against the Muslims.

Utbah ibn Rabiah was killed in single combat by Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib, Muhammad's uncle, at the Battle of Badr. His death was a significant loss for the Quraysh. His son Hind later sought revenge, leading to Hamza's death at Uhud.
