Rabbie Namaliu

Namaliu became Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, succeeding Paias Wingti. His tenure focused on economic reform and maintaining stability amid the Bougainville conflict.

As a key negotiator, Namaliu helped broker the Bougainville Peace Agreement, ending a decade-long civil war. The agreement granted Bougainville autonomy and a future referendum on independence.

Namaliu served as Minister for Foreign Affairs under Prime Minister Michael Somare. He represented PNG in international forums and managed diplomatic relations.
